~._~ . ............._v <br />,,~' ~ ,, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.94 - 81 <br />BY: Mayor Boyle and All of City Council <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTING A NEW FIRE <br />STATION AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of constructing a new <br />Fire Station ,and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by Dickson Associates, Inc., for the <br />City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to advertise for. <br />the bids for constructing a new Fire Station according to specifications now on file in his office <br />and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~ <br />TEST: <br />~~y~~~-- <br />Barbara L.
