,~ <br />,~,. <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.94-76 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ACHIEVEMENT BY <br />DENNIS LNINGSTON <br />OF THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD IN BOY SCOUTING <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration recognize and reaffirm their <br />dedication to organized Scouting; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration further recognize that those <br />participating in Scouting, both the youths and their leaders, are an invaluable asset to the <br />community and the Nation, and that the ideals of Scouting, the Scout Law and the Scout <br />Pledge are commitments that all citizens should strive for; and <br />WHEREAS, when one of our young citizens has been committed to Scouting to <br />such an extent that he earns the rank of Eagle Scout, it is truly a noteworthy <br />accomplishment; and <br />WHEREAS, DENNIS LIVINGSTON, as a member of Boy Scout Troop 664, has <br />served his fellow Scouts as an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, <br />Quartermaster, and Librarian, was chosen to serve as an Honorary Official in the All <br />Scouts Weekend, and received the Arrow of Light Award; and <br />WHEREAS, throughout his Scouting career as a Cub Scout, Webelo and Boy <br />Scout, DENNIS LNINGSTON, was an active camper and attended Camp Averyhand <br />Summer Camp for eight years; and <br />WHEREAS, DENNIS LIVINGSTON, in achieving his Eagle Scout Award earned <br />twenty-six Merit Badges; and <br />WHEREAS, while DENNIS was undertaking all these Scouting projects, he was <br />an active member of his church volunteering his time as a Server; and <br />WHEREAS, DENNIS is currently a student at North Ridgeville High School <br />where he is a member of the Symphonic, Jazz and Marching Bands; and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of the Eagle Scout Award by DENNIS LIVINGSTON <br />is a noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the congratulations of the entire community. <br />
