...:y,..,me. , _ , ,.~_~..~ ..,. ___... , <br />-, <br />„~,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 94-55 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN DEAN MCKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE REQUESTING AND CONSENTING TO A <br />HIGHWAY STRIPING MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br />BY THE COUNTY ENGINEER OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />(hereinafter referred to as THE MUNICIPALITY) requesting the assistance of the Cuyahoga <br />County Engineer (hereinafter referred to as THE COUNTY) in the matter of a Highway Striping <br />Maintenance Project. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, by resolution, has delegated to the County <br />Engineer the authority to assist Municipalities with maintenance projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, by resolution, has established rates to be <br />charged for the rental of County-owned equipment to governmental subdivisions; and <br />WHEREAS, THE MUNICIPALITY has requested the assistance of THE COUNTY in a <br />highway striping maintenance project on various roads in THE MUNICIPALITY, and <br />WI~REAS, the highway striping maintenance project will include the striping of center lines, <br />lane lines, edge lines, and other miscellaneous pavement markings on various streets within THE <br />MUNICIl'ALITY; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, County of <br />Cuyahoga, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1: That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent of THE <br />MUNICII'ALITY be, and such consent is hereby given to THE COUNTY to perform the above- <br />describedhighway striping maintenance project. <br />SECTION 2: That THE MUNICIPALITY agrees to participate with THE COUNTY in the cost <br />of the project by contributing one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of the highway striping <br />maintenance project performed under this Ordinance, including, but not limited to, the cost of <br />rental of County-owned equipment, labor, fuel, materials, and disposal of hazardous waste. It is <br />understood that the cost of this project shall not exceed the force account limitation contained in <br />Section 5543.19, O.R.C. <br />
