..,,~.~w...:_._ _. _ ._µm..._~~.nm~,~. <br />F <br />CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 48 <br />BY: Councilman Dean McKay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE WIDENING AND SIGNALIZATION OF BUTTERNUT <br />RIDGE ROAD BY THE INTERSECTION OF KENNEDY RIDGE ROAD AS DETAILED IN <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHIItEAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of <br />widening and signalization of Butternut Ridge Road at the intersection of <br />Kennedy Ridge Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHD.tEAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to <br />enter into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the widening and signalization <br />of Butternut Ridge Road at the intersection of Kennedy Ridge Road <br />according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED : ~ 5~ C/ <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure iinnediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and further, provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />ATTEST: <br />,7 ., <br />~~ ~~~ ~-n~~-__ ~. <br />BARBARA L.
