T' `~. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-31 <br />BY: THE MAYOR AND ENTIRE CITY COUNCIL <br />,f,.:.~::.rk <br />.w++, <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING FREE FARE DAY ON <br />MARCH 1, 1994 /N CELEBRATION OF THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS UNES 63RD ANNIVERSARY, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, The North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line (NOMBL) will celebrate its <br />63rd anniversary on March 1, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of North Olmsted is very proud of the oldest municipal <br />bus line in the State of Ohio which serves the cities of Cleveland, Fairview Park, <br />Lakewood, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, Rocky River and <br />Westlake; and <br />WHEREAS, To celebrate this 63-year heritage, the City of North Olmsted and <br />the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority will co-sponsor a Free Fare Day from <br />4 a.m. March 1, 1994 to 2 a.m. on March 2, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, This free service day has been supported by the Board of <br />Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, By passing this Resolution, the City of North Olmsted restates its <br />commitment to a bus line which has provided 63 years worth of fine public service, <br />reliability and convenience. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted supports its bus line <br />and will mark this historic occasion with the Free Fare Day. <br />
