„~~-.~ <br />(d) Right of Revision. The City reserves the right to amend the <br />Codified Ordinances to provide more stringent limitations or <br />requirements on discharges to the sewage disposal system where deemed <br />necessary to comply with the objectives set forth in this chapter. <br />(e) Dilution. No discharge shall increase the use of potable or <br />process water in any way for the purpose of diluting a discharge as a <br />partial or complete substitute for adequate treatment to achieve <br />compliance with the standards set forth in the Codified Ordinances <br />contained in the Federal pretreatment standards or contained in any <br />State requirements. This shall not prohibit the use of equalization <br />tanks utilized to regulate flows. <br />(f) Supplementary Limitations. No discharger shall discharger <br />wastewater containing concentrations of the following enumerated <br />materials, exceeding the following values: <br />Material mg/L <br />Arsenic 0.2 <br />Cadmium 2.0 <br />Chromium, Total 2,p <br />Copper 1.0 <br />Cyanide, Total 2,p <br />Iron 15.0 <br />Lead 0.5 <br />Mercury 0.01 <br />Nickel 3.0 <br />Phenols 10.0 <br />Selenium p.2 <br />Silver 2.0 <br />Toxic Organics, Any One Solvent 0.4 <br />Toxic Organics, Total 2.5 <br />The Service Director may impose mass limitations on dischargers <br />when deemed appropriate by the City. The Director may also convert <br />Categorical Pretreatment Standards expressed in terms of mass to <br />equivalent concentration limits when deemed appropriate. <br />Mass limitations on dischargers are intended to prevent the use of <br />dilution to meet the pretreatment standards or requirements of the <br />Codified Ordinances, or in other cases where the imposition of mass <br />limitations is deemed appropriate by the City" <br />Section 2: Any ordinance or part of ordinances inconsistent herewith <br />are hereby repealed. <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest date allowed by law. <br />
