s <br />BY: Councilman Lind <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-29 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO (2) 23,000 LBS. GVWR CHASSIS (LOW <br />PROFILE), TWO (2) SUPER DUTY DUMP BODIES AND HOISTS, AND TWO <br />(2) 10' POWER ANGLE SNOW PLOWS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bids for two (2) 23,000 lbs. GVWR Chassis (Low Profile), two (2) <br />Super Duty Dump Bodies and Hoists, and two (2) 10' Power Angle Snow Plows for use in <br />the Service Department. Said trucks and equipment shall conform to the <br />specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service, and that <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare <br />and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to maintain service to area <br />residents and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passa e <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~G'.~~~ /5J <br />g <br />ATT <br />. ~ a--e-- <br />~V-rvwLj <br />B, B L.
