<br />CITY OF NORTH OLirLSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 27 <br />BY: Mayor Ed Boyle <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR SITE IMPROVEMII~TS AT THE NORTH OLMSTID RECREATION CENTER <br />(PHASE 2) IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Department of the City of North Olmsted has <br />determined that it is in the best interest of the City to correct drainage <br />problems, resurface the parking lot, and make other site improvements at the <br />Recreation Center, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council believes that it is in the best interest of the City <br />to proceed with the aforesaid project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION I: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for site improvements at the North Olmsted <br />Recreation Center (Phase 2) in North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediate) upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED L ~, ~~~'~ <br />oS . <br />BARBARA L.
