CITY OF NORTH OIi~LS'TID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 26 <br />BY: Mayor Boyle and the Entire Council <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION, <br />PHASE F, IMPROVEI~ITS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the District One Public Works Integrating Committee has approved a <br />grant of $386,835.00 for financial assistance to the City for this project, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />sanitary sewer improvements as various locations in the City of North Olmsted and <br />deems it appropriate for the best utilization of the sewer system to construct <br />the aforesaid sanitary sewer improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the City <br />Engineer, is desirous of having the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now in his office for the <br />purpose of constructing sanitary sewer improvements, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUN'T'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer <br />Rehabilitation, Phase F, improvements at various locations in the City of North <br />Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of <br />of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for further reason that is immediately necessary to take <br />corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents served by these sewers and further, provided it received the <br />affirmativ vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be irce immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: / ~-~-r/ fl <br />_, <br />L.. <br />L.
