~~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OIiNSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 20 <br />BY: Councilman David Lind <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMIIVT OF WESTCHESTER DRIVE AND OLMSTID DRIVE <br />AS DETAILID IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WFPJREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving <br />the pavement and sewers in Westchester Drive and Olmsted Drive, and <br />WIIERFAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTID, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the improvement of the pavement <br />and sewers on Westchester Drive and Olmsted Drive according to specifications now <br />on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediat~ upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~~~'~ ~, , j~~j`~' <br />~% <br />BARBARA L.
