". <br /> <br />SECTION 14: That all pay ranges and amounts established for the year <br />1994, will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1994. Salaries specified in this <br />ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 15: That upon the approval of the Mayor or respective Director, <br />all full-time administrative and legislative personnel, with the exception of those holding <br />Elected or Director positions, listed in this ordinance will be paid time and one-half of <br />their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one <br />day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess <br />of forty (40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall be paid to said employees <br />for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least forty (40) hours during <br />the work week. <br />SECTION 16: That all full-time administrative and legislative personnel <br />listed in this Ordinance with the exception of Directors having completed five (5) years <br />of full-time service as an employee of the City shall be paid an additional four percent <br />(4%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of their tenth (10th) year of <br />full-time service after which such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time <br />service, such employee shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until <br />after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, and during each <br />year of full-time service thereafter, they shall receive seven (7%) of their base annual <br />salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 17: That all full-time administration and legislative personnel <br />listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to <br />work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive their regular <br />rate of pay; New Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; <br />Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) day on <br />Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (1/2) day on New Year's Eve Day; the <br />employees birthday; and a floating holiday <br />SECTION 18: That all full-time administration and legislative personnel <br />listed within this ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the vacation ordinance. All previous service as an elected City public official within the <br />City shall be considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation and sick leave <br />upon retirement. <br />SECTION 19: That all full-time administrative and legislative non- <br />bargaining unit personnel shall receive two (2) eight (8) hour days off with pay or may <br />elect to be paid for two (2) eight (8) hour day, for each six (6) continuous month period <br />of unused sick leave. No month shall be counted in more than one period. <br />
