...~ .. _ <br />a <br />.. ,,. <br />ti <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 7 <br />BY: COUNCILMAN LIND <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />AND BENEFITS TO BE PAID TO ALL PART-TIME <br />HOURLY EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED MUNICIPAL-BUS LINE, AND DECLARING <br />AN E[~RGENCY. <br />~~1IIiEREREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the pay benefits <br />for part-time hourly NOMBL employees, effective February 1, 1994, in order <br />that they be similar to those presently offered to employees of the Greater <br />Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the compensation to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: <br />Part-time Hourl Employees <br />Effective February 1, 1994 <br />Classification Rate Steps <br />Title 1* 2 3 <br />Bus Operator 10.205 10.990 12.560 <br />Hostler $9.630 $10.370 $11.850 <br />Extra Labor $4.50 to $7.00 ranges** <br />*Each rate step is 2,080 part-time hours. Part-time hourly Bus <br />Operators and Hostlers who are subsequently hired full-time will remain in <br />the rate step schedule they are in as a full-time employee. However, no <br />credit with part-time hours will be applied towards their full-time <br />employment wage progression within that rate step. <br />During training period, part-time Bus Operators and Hostlers shall be <br />paid the federal mandated minimum wage per hour. <br />**Extra Labor, includes summer and temporary help students, other <br />temporary employees and custodial helpers. The hourly rate shall be in the <br />range as given. <br />
