CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010 -2 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />BIDS FOR DIESEL FUEL AND GASOLINE PRODUCTS FOR USE BY THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for diesel fuel <br />and gasoline products for use in the City of North Olmsted, in accordance with specifications on <br />file, and that upon approval and award by the Board of Control to the lowest and best bidder, that <br />the Mayor is further hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately given the <br />necessity of such fuel and gasoline products for the continued, uninterrupted provision of vital <br />city services, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: V a ~ ~~ ~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />MARIE GALLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />t'q, p~la <br />APPROVED: <br />_ ~ ,y,~ <br />MA OR KEVIN .KEN DY <br />First Reading: /~5'~to <br />Second Reading: ~ ~ l q //v <br />Third Reading: ~~~~~~~ <br />Committee: ~~M (,,~ <br />,/~~ .4'~~ ~ 1 <br />...r-4,.--~-- <br />ti ~~'~~ ~ <br />DUANE K.
