Ordinance No. 2008-8 <br />and renewed Agreements previously authorized by Ordinance Nos. 2004-07 and 2005- <br />150, and with provision for expansion of the vending machine services provided in light <br />of the departure of the City's concessionaire from the Recreation Center. Said renewed <br />Agreement shall be in form and substance similar to the Agreement entered into between <br />the City and Quality Quick Snacks on December 22, 2005, with provision for expanded <br />vending machines services, and with such other changes as are not substantially adverse <br />to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such <br />changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by <br />the execution of the Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the <br />Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and further for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect <br />immediately because the current contract ends on January 23, 2008, and further provided <br />that it receives the vote of two-thirds of the members of this council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST.• <br />BARBARA L.
