CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010 - 32 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTIONA UTHORIZING THE MA YOR, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR THE ASSET <br />TRANSFER OF EQUIPMENT PURCHASED WITH FY2007 URBAN AREA <br />SECURITY INITIATIVE GRANT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety have recommended that the City <br />enter into an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners providing for the City <br />to receive Two (2) Cases of 3M#1840 Procedure Masks, valued at $101.00; thirty-three (33) boxes <br />of Radians Safety Glasses, valued at $316.80; Nine (9) cases of Dynarex Isolation Gowns, valued at <br />$306.00; and one (1) case of Gerson N95 Masks, valued $213.00, for a grand total of $936.80; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the City to <br />enter into said agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized, on behalf of the City ofNorth <br />Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners for the <br />purposes of receiving title to and possession of Two (2) Cases of 3M# 1840 Procedure Masks, valued <br />at $101.00; thirty-three (33) boxes of Radians Safety Glasses, valued at $316.80; Nine (9) cases of <br />Dynarex Isolation Gowns, valued at $306.00; and one (1) case of Gerson N95 Masks, valued at <br />$213.00, for a grand total of $936.80 to be purchased by the County with FY2007 Urban Area <br />Security Initiative Grant. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to respond <br />immediately and in a timely fashion to the revenue opportunity offered by the County; and further <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in orce immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~~ ° First Reading: ~(p /D <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />
