CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010 - 46 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTIONA UTHORIZING THE MA YOR, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR THE ASSET <br />TRANSFER OF EQUIPMENT PURCHASED WITH FY2007 URBAN AREA <br />SECURITY INITIATIVE GRANT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety have recommended that the City <br />enter into an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners providing for the City <br />to receive ninety (90) Duodote Auto Injectors valued at $42.23 each and fifteen (15) Diazepam l Omg <br />in 2ml Auto Injectors valued at $31.87 each, for a grand total of $4,278.75; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the City to <br />enter into said agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized, on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners for the <br />purposes of receiving title to and possession of ninety (90) Duodote Auto Injectors valued at $42.23 <br />each and fifteen (15) Diazepam l Omg in 2m1 Auto Injectors valued at $31.87 each, for a grand total <br />of $4,278.75 to be purchased by the County with FY2007 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to respond <br />immediately and in a timely fashion to the revenue opportunity offered by the County; and further <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ / O First Reading: r ~t ~ <br />Second Reading: ~~ <br />Third Reading.• <br />Committee: <br />
