Section 20: Vacation That all full-time personnel {fisted within this Ordinance shalt be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with Section 161.11 of the Administrative Code. All previous service as an elected <br />city public official within the city shall be considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation and sick <br />leave upon retirement, Effective April 17, 2010 through December 31, 2010 vacation, sell back for cash is <br />prohibited. The prohibition of vacation sell back found in this paragraph shall be and remain in effect for the <br />period of April 17, 2010 through December 31, 2011, whereupon as of January 1, 2012 it shall expire and be <br />null, void and of na effect. <br />Section 21: Attendance Bonus Days That all full-time personnel who do not use sick leave time for any <br />calendar quarter (i.e., Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, or Oct-Dec), shall receive eight (8) hours of paid time off. <br />In addition, full-time personnel who do not use sick leave time for any calendar half (i.e., Jan-Jun, or Ju1- <br />Dec), shall receive an additional eight (8) hours of paid time off for each such calendar half. (This provision <br />shall be construed so that employees may receive no more than a maximum of forty-eight (48} hours each <br />calendar year.) Such attendance bonus days may be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the City and the <br />employee and they must be taken within one year of the date they are earned. Up to one absence per year <br />for attending a funeral may be used without affecting eligibility for bonus days. <br />Section 22: Boot Allowance That the following full-time employees shall be reimbursed by the City in an <br />amourit not to exceed $200 annually for the purchase or purchases of boots by such employees for use in <br />their employment with the City of North Olmsted: Public Works Foremen; Fleet Manager; Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant Superintendent; Waste Water Treatment Plant Assistant Superintendents (Plant and <br />Collections); Waste Water Collection System Foreman; Laboratory Chemist; and Golf Course Maintenance <br />Supervisor. Said full-time employees shall be entitled to receive such reimbursement in any year by <br />presenting to the Finance Department, no later than by the 15th day of June of that year, receipts which <br />document his or her expenditure or expenditures, during the immediately preceding one year period, for the <br />purchase of such boots. Upon timely submittal of such documentation to the Finance Department no later <br />than by the 15th day of June of any year, the City shall reimburse such employee at the next pay day that <br />falls in the month of Juiy. <br />Section 23: Electronic Deposit All forms of compensation shall be paid by electronic deposit to <br />commence at the City's convenience, but not less than thirty {30) days after adoption of this ordinance.
