<br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN
<br />RESOURCES TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR COMPREHENSIVE
<br />MUNICIPAL LIABILITY, AUTOMOTIVE LIABILITY AND PHYSICAL
<br />DAMAGE, PUBLIC OFFICIALS ERRORS AND OMISSIONS, POLICE
<br />PROFESSIONAI. LIABILITY, PROPERTY, INLAND MARINE, BOILER
<br />AND MACHINERY, BROAD FORM CRIME, EDP, UMBRELLA, LIQUOR
<br />LIABILITYAND OTHER VARIOUS INSURANCE COVERAGE REQUIRED
<br />BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS A PACKAGE, AND
<br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SAID
<br />INSURANCE PACKAGE WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER, AND
<br />SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL.
<br />WHEREAS, bid specifications for the purchase of Comprehensive Municipal Liability,
<br />Automotive Liability and Physical Damage, Public Officials Errors and Omissions, Police
<br />Professional Liability, Property, Inland Marine, Boiler and Machinery, Broad Form Crime, EDP,
<br />Umbrella, Liquor Liability and other various insurance coverage required by the City of North
<br />Olmsted, as a package, and as prepared by the Director of Human Resources, are on file in the
<br />office of the Director of Human Resources; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Human Resources
<br />to advertise for bids, and, to further authorize the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control,
<br />to enter into an agreement or agreements for the purchase of said insurance package with the
<br />lowest and best bidder.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Human Resources be and she is hereby authorized to
<br />advertise for bids for the purchase of Comprehensive Municipal Liability, Automotive Liability
<br />and Physical Damage, Public Officials Errors and Omissions, Police Professional Liability,
<br />Property, Inland Marine, Boiler and Machinery, Broad Form Crime, EDP, Umbrella, Liquor
<br />Liability and other various insurance policies necessary for the City of North Olmsted, as a
<br />package, and in accordance with the specifications now on file in her office and that, upon
<br />approval by the Board of Control, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
<br />or agreements with the lowest and best bidder for said insurance coverage package.
<br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the
<br />earliest date provided for by law.
