CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2010-81 BY: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND AMENDING THE RANGE OF COMPENSATION RATES AND SALARY RANGES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL AND ESTABLISHING SUCH RATES AND RANGES FOR DEPARTMENTS AND DIVISIONS AS REORGANIZED THROUGH THE PASSAGE OF LEGISLATION; AND OTHERWISE RESTATE THE COMPENSATION RATE RANGES AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEAR 2010, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: Section 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for legislative employees for the office of Council. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by City Council as appropriate. (BW =Biweekly; PH =Per Hour) TO Pay A. Office of Council FROM 2010 Type 1. President of Council (established by separate Ordinance 2008-142, through 2013) 2. Council-At-Large Members (established by separate Ordinance 2006-192, through 2011) 3. Ward Council Members (established by separate Ordinance 2008-143, through 2013) 4. Clerk of Council 1,576.92 2,153.85 BW 5. Temporary Clerk of Council shall receive $15 PH per meeting and not less than $25 per meeting. Section 2: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Law. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Law as appropriate. TO Pay A. Department of Law FROM 2010 Type 1. Director of Law (Part-Time) (established by separate Ordinance 2008-144 , through 2013) 2. Assistant Director of Law 1,153.85 1,923.08 BW - Civil I (Part-Time) 3. Assistant Director of Law 576.92 1,346.15 BW - Civil II (Part-Time) 4. City Prosecutor (Part-Time) 1,211.54 1,615.38 BW 5. Secretary 1,266.40 1,673.08 BW 6. Law Clerk (Part-Time) 12.00 17.25 PH Section 3: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Finance The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Finance as appropriate. TO pay A. Department of Finance FROM 2010 Type 1. Director of Finance (established by separate Ordinance 2008 -145, through 2013) 2. Assistant Director of Finance 2,307.69 3,032.14 BW 3. Secretary 1,266.40 1,673.08 BW 4. Bookkeeper A (Part-Time) 12.62 19.77 PH Section 4: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various administrative employees of the City of North Olmsted. The salaries in Sections 4-10 shall be determined by the Mayoras appropriate. TO pay A. Office of the Mayor FROM 2010 Type 1. Mayor (established by separate Ordinance 2008-146 , through 2013) 2. Administrative Assistant (Full-Time) 1,557.69 2,121.08 gW 3. Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) 19.47 26.51 pH 4. Secretary 1,266.40 1,673.08 PH 5.
