.. <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does, in accordance with the rules and requirements for <br />CDBG applications, and in order to satisfy any and all prerequisites to qualify the same, hereby <br />authorize and direct the Director of Planning and Development to coordinate with the Director of <br />Public Service, as may be necessary, to develop the said project proposal so as to meet and/or <br />exceed the CDBG application standards, and for the Director of Public Service to provide any <br />and all necessary information and assistance to the Director of Planning and Development in <br />establishing, documenting, and fulfilling the CDBG application specifications for the said project <br />proposal. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the City <br />may make a timely application for Community Development Block Grant funds on or before <br />November 4, 2010, and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of the Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 6-?06,#4 f ? ??( p <br />ATT T: <br />MARIE GALLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />First Reading.• - ?1' o I <br />Second Reading: a/m ? p <br />Third Readin : <br />Committee: <br />. <br />DUANE K.
