Resolution No. 2006-69 <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted be and is hereby designated <br />as the authorized agent of the City of North Olmsted to make an application for a Public <br />Assistance Grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Ohio Emergency Management <br />Agency for reimbursement of City costs in connection with debris removal relating to a May/June <br />2004 flood event; further that the Mayor is authorized to accept the Public Assistance Grant, if <br />awarded, on behalf of the City; further that the Mayor is authorized to execute all documents <br />necessary to effectuate the application for and receipt of the said Public Assistance Grant; and <br />finally that the Council hereby ratifies all actions relating to this grant application taken to date by <br />the Administration. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to meet <br />filing deadlines; and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 02 vo <br />ATTES . <br />- ~~~~ <br />BA ARA L.
