<br />Ordinance No. 2006-56 <br />injunctive relief against the registered offender. As provided in Section 2950.031 of the <br />Ohio Revised Code, the City shall not be required to prove irreparable harm in order to <br />obtain the relief. <br />(e) In addition to the foregoing civil remedy provided to enforce these civil regulations <br />relating to registered offenders, any registered offender who violates either paragraph (b) <br />or (c) of this section shall be guilty of a fourth degree misdemeanor and, minimally, fined <br />one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day for the first five days of his or her violation, and <br />two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day for every subsequent day of violation. For <br />purposes of this paragraph, each day during which such violation continues shall <br />constitute a separate violation. <br />SECTION 2: The provisions of this Ordinance are severable. If a codified or uncodified <br />section of law contained in this Ordinance, or a provision or application of such a section is held <br />invalid, the invalidity does not affect any other codified or uncodified section of law contained in <br />this Ordinance, or any related codified or uncodified section, or any provision or application of <br />any such section, that can be given effect without the invalid section or provision or application. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately to more <br />effectively protect North Olmsted children from registered sexual offenders living in the Cit~of <br />North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />~, <br />PASSED: / (c O o 6 <br />ATTEST.• <br />J <br />ARA L.
