CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2006 - 13 BY: Mayor O'Grady AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 945 (COMMUNITY CABIN/SENIOR CENTER)) OF THE NORTH OLMSTED CODIFIED ORDINANCES IN ORDER TO TRANSFER RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMMUNITY CABINAND SENIOR CENTER RENTALS FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SER VICE TO THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY LIFE SER VICES. WHEREAS, Chapter 945 of the Codified Ordinances currently provides for the Director of Public Service to be responsible for rentals of the Community Cabin and the Senior Center; and WHEREAS, in order to better coordinate rentals of the Community Cabin and the Senior Center, with other City rental facilities such as the Springvale Ballroom and Heritage Room, it is the recommendation of the Mayor that responsibility for rentals of the Community Cabin and Senior Center be transferred from the Director of Public Service to the Director of Community Life Services; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to appropriately amend various sections of Chapter 945 consistent with the Mayor's recommendations; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 945 (Community Cabin/Senior Center) of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, which presently reads as set forth in Exhibit A attached to this Ordinance and which is hereby incorporated into this Ordinance as if fully rewritten herein, be and hereby is amended, and, as amended, shall read as set forth in Exhibit B attached to this Ordinance, which likewise is hereby incorporated into this ordinance as if fully rewritten herein. SECTION 2: That, in all other respects, Chapter 945 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, as amended and supplemented from time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3: That the original sections amended or revised herein are expressly repealed, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances or resolutions that are inconsistent ~r in conflict with any of the newly amended sections of Chapter 945 are likewise repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict only. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
