<br />v~ r <br />Resolution No. 2006-10 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council hereby supports House Bill No. 294, providing for the <br />establishment of administrative foreclosure proceedings in County Boards of Revision upon tax <br />liens against parcels of real property statutorily-defined as "abandoned lands." <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be, and she hereby is, directed to forward a <br />certified copy of this Resolution to State Senator Robert Spada, State Representative Sally <br />Conway Kilbane, and Cuyahoga County Treasurer Jim Rokakis. <br />SECTION 3: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of <br />this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />SECTION 4: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately due to upcoming <br />hearings on this matter, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~ <br />J-DO <br />ATTEST.• <br />Farst Reading: /~'1 ero <br />Second Reading: a ~/0~ <br />Third Reading: dt sr O~ <br />Committee: _ - ,~la,~-- ~ <br />ARA L.
