v~ r Resolution No. 2006-10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That this Council hereby supports House Bill No. 294, providing for the establishment of administrative foreclosure proceedings in County Boards of Revision upon tax liens against parcels of real property statutorily-defined as "abandoned lands." SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be, and she hereby is, directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to State Senator Robert Spada, State Representative Sally Conway Kilbane, and Cuyahoga County Treasurer Jim Rokakis. SECTION 3: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. SECTION 4: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately due to upcoming hearings on this matter, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
