•. <br />.~~ <br />Ordinance No. 2006-8 <br />(3) The number of motor vehicles attracted to the premises shall not exceed the <br />number normally associated with a single family residence; and <br />(4) No sign or other outward evidence of the occupation shall be displayed except for <br />one nameplate complying with the provisions of Chapter 1163. <br />(b) Home Occupation. A home occupation may be permitted in a Residence District <br />provided: <br />(1) Only members of the family residing within the dwelling shall work therein; <br />(2) The occupation is conducted wholly within the resident dwelling; <br />(3) No merchandise shall be sold except that which is produced or processed on the <br />premises; <br />(4) No mechanical equipment shall be used which will create any dust, noise, odors, <br />glare, vibrations or electrical disturbances beyond the lot; <br />(5) The residential character of the dwelling exterior shall not be changed; <br />(6) Trucks or other mobile equipment shall not be parked overnight in driveways or <br />open yards, and the occupations do not attract any greater number of automobiles <br />to the premises than normally associated with a single family residence; and <br />(7) No sign or other outward evidence of the occupation shall be displayed except for <br />one nameplate complying with the provisions of Chapter 1163. <br />(c) Private Garage. <br />(1) A private detached garage shall not exceed 750 square feet in total floor area; <br />fifteen feet in height, and not less than twenty feet in depth and nine feet wide. <br />(2) A detached garage shall be located not less than fifteen feet from a dwelling on <br />the same lot or any adjacent lot and shall be set back not less than five feet from a <br />side property line and ten feet from a rear property line. <br />(3) A private garage attached by a common wall within the livable floor area of a <br />dwelling or connected to the dwelling by means of a covered or other enclosed <br />area shall be considered part of the main building for the purposes of determining <br />the required yard setback requirements. Further, provided that any detached or <br />attached garage and garages in combination shall not exceed 750 square feet. <br />(d) Accessory Buildings and Structures. <br />(1) One detached accessory storage building in addition to a private detached garage <br />shall be permitted in the rear yard of a residential lot in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Lot Area Maximum Accessory <br />Storage Building Size* Maximum Accessory <br />Storage Building Height <br />Up to 10,850sgft 80sgft gft <br />10,851 to 21,780 sq ft 120 sq ft 9 ft <br />21,781 to 43,560 sq ft 200 sq ft 10 ft <br />43,561 to 87,120 sq ft 300 sq ft 12 $ <br />Over 87,120 sq ft 400 sq ft 12 ft <br />
