SHARPE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (D) OF SECTION 1173.02 ENTITLED "PERMITTED BUILDINGS AND USES" OF CHAPTER 1173 ENTITLED "GENERAL RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT" OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF NOP.TH OLP~STED, AS AMENDED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Subsection (D) of Section 1173.02 entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses" of Chapter 1173 entitled "General Retail Business District" of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted which now reads as follows: "(D) Service establishments including: 1. Motuaries, crematoriums or undertaking establishments. 2. Printing shops and graphic arts facilities including the art and copy preparation, layout and design, and reproduction of various types of printed materials such as labels, color cards and packs, advertising and informational letters, brochures, stationery, greeting cards, and similar type features. 3. Research and testing laboratories; radio and television stations; telephone exchanges and transformer stations. 4. Hospitals, providing the institution does not accept for treatment persons suffering from communicable diseases. 5. Convalescent, nursing, custodial or rest homes for the infirm or aged provided no part thereof is nearer than fifty (50) feet from any side or rear property line. 6. Bus stations or terminals provided the street upon which any exit is located is at least forty-four (44) _feet wide between the established curb lines. 7. Animal hospitals or pet shops provided noise and odor is effectively confined to the building it uses and further provided that no part thereof is nearer than five hundred (500) feet from an existing establishment selling food for consumption on the premises." BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED AND AS AMENDED SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: "(D) Service establishments including: 1. Mortuaries, crematoriums or undertaking establishments. 2. Printing shops and graphic arts facilities including the art and copy preparation, layout and design, and reproduction of various types of printed materials such as labels, color cards and packs, advertising and informational letters, brochures, stationery, greeting cards, and similar type features.
