,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77 - ~9~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND PREVIOUSLY <br />USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration have determined <br />that various items of personal property owned by the City of <br />North Olmsted and formerly used by the Police Department are no <br />longer needed for municipal purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to sell said <br />personal property in accordance with law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following personal property formerly <br />used by the Police Department is no longer needed for municipal <br />purposes, to wit: <br />1,136 lbs. of Scrap Lead from the <br />Police Department Firing Range <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />sell sai personal property to the highest bidder according to law <br />provided however that the highest bid is approved by the Board of <br />Control and further provided that the highest bidder shall, upon <br />acceptance of the bid, pay to the Director of Finance of the City of <br />North Olmsted twenty-five percent (25 a) of the bid price and that <br />within five (5) days thereafter, the entire bid price shall be paid <br />and the successful bidder shall accept and remove said property <br />from the premises of the City. The Mayor, having been advised upon <br />receipt of the full bid price, shall, if necessary, execute and and <br />all documents required by law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />full force rom and after the earliest period allowed by law <br />provided that this Ordinance shall be approved by at least two- <br />thirds vote of all members of Council. <br />PASSED: ~JCcG. ~~ /~~7 <br />ATTEST: <br />Lj~~ ~ ~~, <br />Nora T.
