JOB TITLE: LAB~tIIt "A" <br />Responsible to: Division Foreman <br />Characteristic duties: Employees in this classification operate !aulti- <br />ple types of vehicle equipment including a Gradall, Road Grader, Asphalt <br />Spreader, Salt Spreader, Carry-A11, R,y-Lift Truck, Packer Trucks, heavy <br />duty snow plows, large Roller, tractors street sweeper, sanivac, and <br />various types of earth moving equipment, such as backhoe and bulldozer. <br />Employees in this classification f'requent],y will direct the activities <br />of a work crew ae assigned by supervision. An employee in this classi- <br />fication assigned to driving a packer truck leads the activities of the <br />general laborers assigned to his truck and is responsible for their <br />activities. The employee will receive generalized supervision with <br />specific directions available as required. This employee is responsible <br />far the vehicle and tools assigned and may be required to operate radio <br />equipment. Employees in this classification may be assigned to general <br />labor work as required. <br />~iaployees in this classification may perform other duties as assigned <br />within the general character of the duties above described. <br />
