.. , .~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-~~~ <br />By; Mr. Wilamosky <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 3,500 TONS OF <br />SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 3,500 <br />tons of salt in accordance with specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency resolution necessary for the immediate <br />preservation of the public health and safety; such necessity <br />exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may <br />soon create hazardous conditions, in consequence whereof <br />great inconvenience `could be suffered by the public, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ /97~ <br />ATTEST: <br />`iLZY~t/ ~ ~k <br />s~~~~ _ <br />Nora T.
