<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NOS 77- ~ ~Q <br />By: <br />Mr. Wilamosky <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR 50 TONS OF CHLORINE FOR USE BY THE <br />LaASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be <br />and he is here bpi authorized to advertise for bids for <br />50 tons of chlorine for use by the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant, according to the specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Con- <br />trol, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the <br />preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />for the further reason that the supply of chlorine will <br />shortly be depleted, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED; July 19, 1977 <br />ATTEST: <br />/~~~ t <br />Nora T.
