. .r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE~~ <br />0 RDINANCE N0. 77 <br />PAGE 4. <br />(c) Every required yard in which no off-street parking or <br />loading spaces are permitted and any additional required land- <br />scaped open areas shall be developed as lawn or planted areas or <br />maintained in an orderly state. The Planning Commission shall <br />require from each applicant for its approval a plan depicting the <br />design of the installation of a fence, wall, hedge or other <br />suitable screening or planting in order to create a buffer area <br />where a residential district adjoins or abuts a rear or side yard <br />of this classification. <br />(d) Sources of light for illumination of the exterior of <br />buildings or grounds shall be shielded so as not to cause glare which <br />would be objectionable to users of adjacent property. <br />1175.07 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING. <br />(a) Parking. The minimum off-street parking places required <br />shall be: <br />Building Use Required Minimum Parking Spaces <br />Gasoline Service Station 1 space per employee, plus 1 space per <br />grease rack, plus 1 space for the rest- <br />room. <br />Motels or hotels 1 space per lodging unit, plus 1 space <br /> per each 2 employees. <br />Meeting Hall 1 space per 3 seats. <br />Restaurant 1 space per 2 seats plus 1 space per each <br /> 3 employees <br />Auto agencies 1 space for each 400 sq. ft. of gross <br /> floor area in the building shall be <br /> provided for customer and employee off- <br /> street parking only. In addition, provision <br /> shall be made and shown on the site plan <br /> of areas to be used for outdoor used car <br /> sales and storage. The lighting of areas <br /> used for the outdoor display of motor <br /> vehicles shall be placed behind the setback <br /> building line and not over fourteen feet <br /> above grade. Such lighting shall be of <br /> the prefocused or focusable type and shall <br /> be directed downward and away from <br /> adjoining property and public streets. The <br /> use of so-called "naked" bulbs for display <br /> areas or signs is prohibited. No illumin- <br /> ation used on any such sign or in any other <br /> sign authorized by this Zoning Code shall <br /> be so designed, arranged or used as to be <br /> directed or reflected into any residential <br /> area or to cause annoying glare in any area. <br /> No signs shall be illuminated. <br /> by flashing or moving lights and no signs <br /> shall revolve, oscillate or otherwise move. <br />
