a,~. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 -~.~~ <br />BY: i~~/ . <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />REPAIR OF VARIOUS CONCRETE STREETS <br />LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, there are various concrete streets in the City of <br />North Olmsted that are in need of repair, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have the Director <br />of Public Service advertise for bids for the repair of said various <br />streets. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby aut orized to advertise for bids for the repair of various <br />concrete streets in the City of North Olmsted in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to proceed with the repair project so that <br />such may be completed in a period during weather conducive to <br />such construction, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~"' <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
