SOUND LEVELS BY RECEIVING LAND USE <br />Receiving Land Use Sound level limit <br />Category Time dBA <br />Residential; Two-Family; <br />Multi-Family, High-Rise 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. <br />(Residential, public <br />space, open space, or <br />institutional) <br />General Retail Business <br />of Local Retail <br />Business <br />8:00 P.M. to 9:00 A.M. <br />At all times <br />Industrial <br />At all times <br />60 <br />50 <br />65 <br />70 <br />55.5.06 EXEMPTIONS <br />The provisions of Section 555.04 and 55.5...05 shall not apply <br />to organized school-related programs, activities or events, or <br />to municipal-authroized parades, or to municipal-sanctioned <br />concerts in public parks. <br />The provisions of Section 555.05 shall not apply to: <br />(a) Activities covered by the following <br />subsections of Section 555.04: <br />"h" (Construction); "i" (Emergency <br />Signaling Devices); "1" (Domestic <br />Power Tools); <br />(b) Refuse collection vehicles, and <br />(c) Railway locomotives and cars. <br />
