~.,... <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 -/,z,Z <br />BY : G9~ ~~~,~r <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />BIDS FOR A NEW PUMP AND PARTS TO BE USED <br />AT THE NORTH OLMSTED SEWAGE TREATMENT <br />PLANT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the pump equipment at the Sewage Treatment Plant <br />is in dire need of replacement and upon the recommendation of <br />the Director of Public Service, this Council is of the opinion <br />that the Director of Public Service should forthwith advertise <br />for bids for said new equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a new pump and parts <br />to be used at the North Olmsted Sewage Treatment Plant, in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is aut orized to enter into a contract and execute the same <br />on behalf of tI~ City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to replace the present equipment <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: waZ <br />ATTEST: <br />~j ~~ <br />~~~/, ~ <br />Nora T.
