~~_. <br />.,._, ~ n <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77 - ~_ <br />BY : G~~ ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POSITION <br />OF SECRETARY TO COMMISSIONS AND PROVIDING <br />COMPENSATION THEREFOR AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE N0. 75-157 ENACTED JUNE 17, 1975, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to increase the <br />compensation range to be paid to the person holding the position <br />of Secretary to Commissions: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the position of Secretary to Commissions of <br />the City o Nort Olmsted is hereby confirmed and re-established and <br />is to be considered to be a part-time position, .and the compensation <br />to be paid to said Secretary shall be effective retroactive to <br />January 1, 1977, which salary shall be payable by the Director of <br />Finance bi-weekly: <br />Secretary to the Commissions - $1,800.00 to $3,600.00 Annually <br />SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of <br />Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith to the provisions in <br />this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 75-157 enacted on June <br />17, 1975, be and the same are hereby repealed with the passage of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directe~~orward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of <br />Finance immediately upon its passage in order that the Director of <br />Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: f <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
