.~`. ~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7 7 - /Q,Z. <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 3: That all full time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless required <br />to work by the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate <br />of pay: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's <br />birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the following schedule: <br />1 to S Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation <br />SECTION 5: That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish <br />the Administration Department and the salaries to be paid, which <br />shall not in any way be construed as limiting the authority of the Mayor <br />for the City of North Olmsted, as established by the Charter of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 6: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directe to orward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance <br />immediately upon its passage in order that the Director of Finance <br />can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 7: That all Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of <br />Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith to the provisions in <br />this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 76-112, enacted on <br />September 7, 1976, be and the same are hereby repealed with the <br />effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 8: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into <br />line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: f <br />ATTEST: ~ <br />~~~ ~ ~~~ <br />Nora T.
