<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 -~9 <br />BY : MR. BOEHMER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />THE REPLACEMENT OF HOT WATER BOILER IN <br />FIRE STATION N0. 2 AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, The hot water heating boiler in Fire Station No. 2 <br />has become unserviceable and requires replacement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the replacement of <br />a hot water heating boiler in Fire Station No. 2 in accordance <br />with the specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to replace the hot water heating boiler in <br />Fire Station No. 2, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />L~ <br />Nora T.
