.,: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />F RESOLUTION N0. 77 -~~ <br />BY : G%~ ~'-~~t~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />THE REPAIR AND RECONDITIONING OF FIRE <br />ENGINE N0. 4 WHICH IS PRESENTLY BEING USED <br />BY THE NORTH OLMSTED FIRE DEPARTMENT AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best <br />interests of the city to keep and maintain Fire Engine No. 4, and <br />WHEREAS, in order to utilize Fire Engine No. 4 as an integral <br />part of the fleet of vehicles in the Fire Department it is necessary <br />to repair and recondition said vehicle. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be .and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the reconditioning and <br />repair of Fire Engine No. 4 in accordance with the specifications <br />now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to augment the existing fleet of <br />vehicles in the Fire Department, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~%~,~, <br />ATTEST: <br />G~ ..7 ~ <br />Nora T.
