,~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 - 7~ <br />BY : G%~. ~~ Ct, <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />RESURFACING OF TENNIS COURTS <br />IN THE CLAGUE ROAD PARK AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Tennis Courts in the Clague Road Park have <br />become in a state of disrepair and are in need of resurfacing, <br />and <br />WHEREAS it is imperative that said resurfacing program <br />begins at once so that the tennis courts will be available for <br />summer recreation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of <br />the tennis courts in Clague Road Park in accordance with the <br />specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to include the resurfaced <br />tennis courts in the summer recreation program, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect .and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />G%~ ~ ~ , <br />Nora T.
