CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 - 7~ <br />gy ; MR. BOEHMER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF FOUR VEHICLES AND THE <br />TRADING IN OF FOUR VEHICLES FOR USE BY <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that four, 1975 vehicles <br />used by the Police Department are in a state of disrepair and need <br />to be replaced, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to trade in said <br />vehicles and at the same time to purchase four new vehicles to be <br />used by the Police Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE' COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND S'T'ATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of four <br />new police cars as well as the trading in of four, 1975 Ford, <br />four-door sedan police vehicles. The advertisement for bids shall <br />be in accordance with specifications now on file in the office of <br />the Director of Public Safety and upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Ma~ior is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and to execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be <br />in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: "f <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.
