a*"°'~ <br />~.~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77 - ~~ <br />BY: WILAMOSKY <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />SERVICE DIRECTOR 7&'' ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR 1000 TONS OF SLAG, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service <br />be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for <br />1000 tons of slag of various sizes for use in maintaining <br />the City's streets in accordance with the specifications <br />now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby <br />declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary <br />for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to provide for the City's slag requirements, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ 19~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
