<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77 - S'"~, <br />BY: FAIRFIELD <br />;~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />P'IAP AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STOP <br />SIGNS AT THE "T" INTERSECTION OF BERKSHIRE <br />DRIVE AND ALDEN DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted that for the purposes of public safety, stop signs <br />should be installed at the "T" intersection of Berkshire Drive and <br />Alden Drive by placing a stop sign on the West side of Berkshire <br />Drive North of Alden Drive thereby controlling the traffic traveling <br />in a Southerly direction on Berkshire Drive; and by further placing <br />a stop sign on the East side of Berkshire Drive South of the point <br />where Alden Drive intersects with Berkshire Drive, thereby controlling <br />the traffic traveling in a Northerly direction on Berkshire Drive, and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of a traffic control map, which said map can be amended <br />only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorized an directed to amend the Traffic Control Map and File <br />of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon stop signs on the <br />West side of Berkshire Drive North of A1den.Drive to control the traffic <br />traveling in a Southerly direction on Berkshire Drive, and on the East <br />side of Berkshire Drive South of the point where Alden Drive inter- <br />sects with Berkshire Drive, thereby controlling the traffic traveling. <br />in a Northerly direction on Berkshire Drive. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor is hereby directed to have said stop <br />signs installe in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
