,~ ,..,, <br />~' <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED,c-OHHIO <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 -~d <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR WALKIE TALKIES FOR THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and <br />he is here y aut orized to advertise for bids for walkie talkies <br />to be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance, after the <br />contract has een awarded, is hereby authorized to make payments <br />according to said contract, however, said payments shall be make <br />out of funds obtained from the Law Enforcement Improvement <br />Grant, however, in no event shall the City's costs exceed $300.00. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that the funds from the Law Enforcement Improvement Grant <br />must be disbursed on or before June 30, 1977 thereby necessitating <br />the immediate advertisement for bids, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : .~'~' <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
