CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79-171 <br />BY: <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />OF A WATER MAIN AT THE SENIOR CITIZENS T4ULTI-PURPOSE <br />SERVICE CENTER LOCATED IN NORTH OLMSTED PARK, AND <br />DECLA.T:ING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that a water line, together <br />with hydrants, must be installed to service the Senior Citizens <br />Multi-Purpose Service Center, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council and the <br />administration to advertise for bids. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby aut orized to advertise for bids for the installation of a <br />water main together with hydrants to serve the Senior Citizens <br />Multi-Purpose Service Center located in North Olmsted Park which <br />shall be in accordance with specifications now in his Office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the nublic health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that the installation of the water main is to be coordinated <br />with the completion of the Service Center by mid-February of 1980. <br />PASSED : S-/'q_ <br />r 40?' <br />ATTEST: <br />FL RENCE CAMPBELL, C K OF COUNCIL D NE .
