?"w > <br />a? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79? <br />PAGE 2. <br />plans for the construction of noise barriers at I-480 Location #13 <br />which barriers were promised through mutual agreement among the <br />State, the City of North Olmsted, and the affected residents. <br />SECTION 2: The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />copies of this Resolution to Congressman Ronald Mottl, Governor <br />James Rhodes, State Senators Jerome Stano and Paul Matia, State <br />Representatives James Betts and Rocco Colonna, Director of the <br />Ohio Department of Transportation David Weir, Director of ODOT <br />Division Twelve Thomas Krall, the Administrator of the Federal <br />Highway Works Administration, U.S. Secretary of Transportation <br />Brock Adams, U.S.Senators John Glenn and Howard Nletzenbaum, urging <br />their immediate intervention in behalf of the City of North Olmsted <br />in order to effect the reinstatement of noise barriers for I-480 <br />Location #13. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety, health, and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that said I-480 is scheduled to open in the near future, as construc- <br />tion is rapidly approaching completion, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PAS S E D : <br />ATTEST: <br />0?"
