CITY OF NORTH OILMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79 - 127 <br />BY : X?. ? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE NIAYOR TO MAKE <br />APPLICATION TO TEE CUYAHOGA COUNTY BOARD OF CO"4ISSIONERS <br />FOR APPROVAL TO USE CUYAHOGA COIINTY MOTOR VEHICLE $5.00 <br />LICENSE TAX FUNDS FOR PARTICIPATION WITH THE COUN1'Y IN THE <br />IMPROV0-1ENT OF DOVER CENTER RQAD BY REPLAC04ENT OF STANDARD <br />CURB INLET GRATES WITH SLANTED-SLOT GRATES FOR INCREA.SED <br />PUBLIC SAFETY, AND DECLARING AN ENIERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TFE COUNCIL OF Tf-E CITY OF NORTH 0LMSTED, COUN'TY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF JHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to make <br />applica.tion to t e Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners for approval to use Cuyahoga <br />Cotmty Motor Vehicle $5.00 License Tax Funds for participation with the Cowity in the <br />improvement of Dover Center Road by replacement of standard curb inlet grates with <br />slated-slot grates for increased public safety. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to transmit <br />copies of t e application together with a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Cuyahoga Cotmty Board of Commissioners and to the Cuyahoga County Engineer. <br />SECTION 3: That this :tesolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />irrunediately necessary for the preservation of health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that said funds are i.rrunediately necessary to expedite the Dover Center <br />Road project and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the r4ayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST : <br />jg,41k? 6-• l ?'??? <br />FLbR NCE E.
