? <br /> JOB TITLE: LIFT STATION ATTENDANT <br /> Nature of Work: This is responsible semi-skilled <br /> mechanical and manual labor work of a <br /> physically demanding nature. <br /> Work involves maintenance of overflows, meter chambers, pumping <br />400 stations, and ejector stations as directed by the Systems Foreman, <br /> Assistant Superintendent-Systems, or Superintendent. <br />? <br /> Examples of Work: <br />? <br />+?r Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of waste- <br /> water pumping stations and ejector stations. <br />?. <br />? As required, painting of pumping and ejector stations, inside <br /> and out; painting of ineter boxes and meter poles; and any other <br /> painting to related structures as assigned. <br />? Operated a variety of standard construction and maintenance <br /> equipment; such as, compressors, air blowers, portable generator, <br /> drills, and other machines as required and as a necessary <br /> adjunct to normal duties. <br />•ft As required, keeps records of all work performed; reports need <br />for materials and euipment where and when needed. <br />? <br />As required, cleaning; such as, washing walls and windows in <br />pumping stations or where assigned. <br />"W <br />Assists Systems Foreman in repairs to meter chambers, overflows, <br />pumping stations, and ejector stations as required. <br />4W <br />Work can be characterized by assignment to rotating shifts where <br />,?. needed or as ordered by the Superintendent. <br />Subject to 24 hour call during emergency situations. <br />?
