? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79-108 <br />PAGE 2. <br />Section 2: Tha.t the full-time employees listed in Section 1 <br />hereof, having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as <br />employees of said departments, shall be paid an additiona.l four percent (40) of <br />their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (lOth) year <br />of full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive five per- <br />cent (S%) of their base annua.l salary; thereafter until the completion of their <br />fifteenth (15th) year of full-time continuous service, such employee shall get <br />six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after the completion of the <br />twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during each year of <br />full-time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (70) of their base <br />annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 3: That all full-time employees as designated in Section 1 <br />hereof shal receive the following holidays off unless requested to work by the <br />Director of Safety in emergencies, and shall receive the regular rate of pay: <br />Independence Day; New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; <br />Christmas Day; Presidents' Day; employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />Section 4: That all full-time employees as listed in Section 1 hereof <br />shall be entitle to an annua.l vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Trro Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-ti.me service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation. <br />Section 5: That Ordinance No. 79-70 as previously adopted, and any other <br />ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />Section 6: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure inuneately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason it is irrnnediately necessary to review all <br />pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 3 d <br />ATTEST : <br />FLORENCE E.
