f <br />` ? • ? <br />' - • QTY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINAN(E N0. 79-68 <br />PAGE 4. <br /> <br />SECTION 11: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for <br />various employees in the Budge.tand Management Department: <br />A. Director <br />$11,000.00 - $20,000.00 Annually <br />B. The Secretary shall be compensated in accordance with the schedule <br />established in Section 4 hereof. <br />C. The Clerk shall be compensated in accordance with the schedule established <br />in Section 4 hereof. <br />D. The individual salaries to be paid to the employees of the Department of <br />Budget and Management as specified in Subsections A through C hereof shall be <br />established by the Ma.yor. <br />SECTION 12: The salary ranges established herein, except for those dealing <br />with electe o icials shall be effective retroactively to January 1, 1979. Salaries <br />specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Finance Director on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 13: The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Section 6 and 7 hereof <br />will be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked <br />in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and one-half of their straight <br />time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. <br />SECTION 14: That all full-time Administrative Personnel having completed <br />five (5) years oT-full-time continuous service, as employees of said departments, <br />shall be paid an additional four percent (4a) of their base annual salary; thereafter <br />until completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous service, after which <br />such employee shall receive five percent (50) of their base annual salary; thereafter <br />until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time continuous service, <br />such employee shall get six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after the <br />completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during <br />each year of full-time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (70) of <br />their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 15: That all full-time Administrative Personnel listed within this <br />Ordinance sTial?ceive the following holidays off, unless required to work by their <br />Supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay: <br />New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanks- <br />giving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 16: That all full-time Administrative Personnel listed within this <br />Ordinance s all e entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation. <br />SECTION 17: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 18: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure urnne iate y necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to review all pay <br />scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to CoLmcil, it shall take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Ma.yor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST : <br />TTORENCE E.
