,..? . ,? ??..?.,..?.?...Y? , .?.?..?,. ?..? ? ?. ..H ?.. _._ <br />?,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79- 56 <br />BY : `? ?? <br />A RESOLUTZON AU'THORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR INSURANCE WITH RESPECT TO <br />THE NORTT-I QUISTED RECREATION COPPLEX, AND DECLARING AN <br />aIERGENCY, AS AbE'VDED. <br />WI-IEREAS, the Director of Public Service has studied the insurance needs <br />of the City with respect to the Recreation Complex, and <br />WHERE.AS, although the City previously entered into an Agreement for <br />insurance on a three-year basis, of which two years are remaining, it is <br />the opinion of the Director of Public Service that the insurance coverage <br />for said Recreation Complex can be purchased at a greater savings when <br />excluded from the overall City insurance package. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF Tf-lE CITY OF NORTH <br />OU-ISTED, COUNTY QF CUYAHCiGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorize to advertise £or bids for insurance coverage at the Recreation <br />Complex in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the irmnediate preservation of the public health and <br />safety, and for the further reason that the existing policy is up for annual <br />renewal on July l, 1979, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of a11 members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force imediately upon its passage and appraval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 9 <br />ATTEST: <br />_ A6??
